Stopping to breathe again

The past few months have been fantastic!! I've been really enjoying the shit out of my life.  I've been loving every minute of the summer and taking in lots of sunshine through my new hobby known as "pooling." I have manifested a local pool about 5 blocks away from my house. My new/old friend gave me the key to his pool one day and of course I managed not only to lock myself out but also IN the pool area that is completely fenced in with a key lock to get in and out of the pool.  Due to the fact that I some how managed to lose the key (so not like me ;) I was left to wait within the confines of the pool for 2 hours waiting for someone to come to my rescue. I asked other people to help me escape with their key without success while I continued to "pool," I guess it could have been worse and with my climbing skills I'm sure I could have mustered up the strength to climb my way out of their but... I didn't.

I have also come to the realization that I need to get out and start traveling again so I'm going to Nebraska! Ha! This is not a lie.

I have heard of this far away land only once before.. it's is apparently a beautiful place known as Lake McConnaughy.

It is infested with redneck hillbillys and boats and eagle/American flag tee-shirts and fun exciting white sandy beach front. I'm going with a friend that has a great little sailboat for a long weekend to mingle with the local folk and get out of town and drink beer out of coozies (also my new fav thang.)

The following weekend I am jet setting out to the city of angels. La La BAM! The land of the beautiful. I'm FINALLY going to meet my most favoritest dj, Mr. Lee Foss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So my happiness levels have been at an all time sky-rocketed high.. like maybe happier than I've been in a really long time.. Annnnnnd I was just gifted these puppies to go along with my new pooling hobby and nearly freaked out and shat a unicorn!!!!!!!! Basically I'm going to be the most fly person at the pool from this day until forever with my new Lionel Coozies!

And of course to end all of this fun. I just recently found out that my brother who has been through many bumps in the road through his 26 years is about to start a radiation treatment to help prevent the growth of a brain tumor that he was diagnosed with several years ago. His doctors were not expecting the growth to happen as quickly as it has so we are going to try to slow the process and get this thing kicked to curb. FUCK YOU BRAIN TUMOR!!
