When I first moved to Boulder in 2007 I had a difficult time adjusting. I had no friends, no family, no connections for jobs, I had never lived on my own, and I was scared.. to say the least I thought about packing it in and moving back to Connecticut many times. But I didn't, and thank dog I didn't, I stuck it out and I'm so, so glad that I did.
Things have been moving along well with Verve. I love the flexibility of the job and I love everything about the product and the company as a whole. It's been great to actually use my brain a bit and start using some of my college degree finally!! I've been making some fantastical progress on revamping the website, organizing some photo shoots, and putting on an awesome fashion show for April 5th!
I also have an interview with a HUUUUUUUGE company known as Crispin Porter + Bugusky that I am so excited about I feel like I could start doing Parkour. If you haven't heard of them than you may have been conked out under a glacier in Antarctica for the past 22 years?
Either way check 'em out and click it: http://www.cpbgroup.com/
Crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes that I can pull this one off and start moving into the direction of becoming a full blown adult.... haha or at least try.
Although I have once AGAIN had to put my travel plans on hold I know everything happens for a reason and I will someday it will happen, someone once told me; "Don't ever expect anything because you'll end up being disappointed." So I'm not :)
Signing off and leaving you with a link to my new fav jam of all times:
